‘Supergirl’ season 2, episode 8 video: A Danvers Thanksgiving
While we know that Monday night’s new episode of “Supergirl” is going to be the beginning of the four-part crossover between this show, “Arrow,” “The Flash,” and “Legends of Tomorrow,” and it certainly seems possible that the sneak peek below is your first look at what you’re going to be seeing coming up within that.
After all, how else do you describe what seems to be a portal opening up while the entire extended Danvers family is sitting down to have a little bit of Thanksgiving dinner. Kara and Alex’s mom has come into town, and with that, they’ve also invited several of their friends to stop by including Mon-El, Winn, and James. alas, it doesn’t appear as though Maggie is going to be dining with them, but for Alex that relationship may still take a little bit of time. Plus, we have to assume that someone within this world of the show has some other friends and family that they may be spending time with.
Does anyone else pick up on something weird going on here between Kara and Alex? Given that it’s possible that this scene occurs near the end of Monday’s episode, there could be a lot that happens between now and when the clip takes place.
We know that Barry Allen and Cisco Ramon are going to be the two characters from “The Flash” who end up paying a visit to the two, and eventually, they’ll end up bringing Kara back with them to their own world to assist in trying to stop the Dominators. This is the last episode of “Supergirl” this fall, so whatever happens next will be something that we’ll have to wait until the new year in order to check out.
