‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 4 spoilers: Prepare for a proper Ghost Rider team-up

While there are some moments here and there on “Agents of SHIELD” season 4 to date that we’ve seen Ghost Rider and SHIELD start to look at each other as potential allies, at the end of the day we do still feel that it’s reasonably few and far between. There is still a realization here for the most part that they have slightly different agendas, and Robbie Reyes still cannot fully control what he is fighting on the inside. With that in mind, it really does limit any sort of long-term collaboration.

With that being said, we can more or less guarantee now that there are going to be some short-term collaborations coming on the upcoming December 6 episode (the episode one back after this short hiatus that we’re in right now) entitled “The Laws of Inferno Dynamics.” There aren’t too many details released about this just yet, but based on what is, we can tell you that these two parties are going to be joining forces after a significant threat is set to potentially rock the entire city of Los Angeles.

If that’s not a significant source of stakes, what is?

As we do prepare for this episode airing, one of the biggest questions that we do have at present is how much longer the Ghost Rider story is going to last. There’s yet to be any indication that the character is going to have a regular presence on the show moving forward, but we do very much know that we’re liking everything that we’ve seen so far and wouldn’t mind if he did stick around (or at least navigated to some other part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe).
