Is ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13, episode 10 new tonight on ABC? Questions and hopes

Grey's 0

Through most of the past two months, we’ve had a chance to get a fairly-constant stream of new episodes of “Grey’s Anatomy.” Unfortunately, for tonight that pattern is coming to an end — and for a fairly good reason.

There is no new episode tonight, and of course, much of that has to deal with the fact that today is Thanksgiving. Why in the world would anyone want to run any episodes against that? There may not be much in terms of televised competition beyond NFL football, but at the same exact time, there is far more competition from life / Black Friday plans / people in turkey comas.

So while you wait for the series to return on Thursday, January 19, here are a few questions that you should really keep in mind.

1. Will Alex escape prison? – At first, he seemed willing to take a plea. However, at the same time it seemed like what Meredith may have said to him in the closing minutes of this past episode shook him up. Also, Jo could still have a role in convincing him to shake things up.

2. Could Andrew drop the charges? – While at the moment it seems unlikely, we’d argue that maybe someone like Jo could get through to him if she made a compelling enough argument. Also, what other revenge does he really need against Alex? While there could still be consequence for Alex, it’s hard to believe that they would be as severe.

3. Could Owen find Amelia? – We gotta imagine that he or someone will in time, but it’s probably not going to be for a few episodes. After all, Caterina Scorsone is a series regular, but she is going to be on maternity leave for the near future.

4. What’s the future of Webber? – At the moment, it does certainly seem dicey — but we do know that almost anything can happen on this show and he has the support of most of the staff seemingly.
