‘The Bachelor’ unveils new Nick Viall promo — and he’s done with filming!

For those of you who want something to be thankful for this week when it comes to “The Bachelor,” may we present you with the latest promo for the upcoming season featuring Nick Viall?

In the video below (via E! News), you get a tiny bit of footage from Nick’s upcoming season premiering on January 2 — which is all mostly standard “Bachelor” fare. Nobody’s dressed up in anything crazy or trying to do anything particular out of the realm of normalcy for this show. Our feeling is that this sort of stuff, knowing this particular series, will come a little bit later. Why give away the goods now? We are expecting a few crazier developments during Nick’s season, given the fact that this is a guy who is incredibly self-aware and is probably going to be very much attune to what producers want from him almost every step of the way.

Oh, and for those wondering, Nick is actually done with filming now, as well! Nick posted on Twitter that the “journey” is over, which means that over the course of the next few months he’ll have to sit around and have the secret of who he picked, provided that he did pick someone and this isn’t a Brad Womack 1.0 situation, fester in his head. He and his new fiancee will probably continue to see each other in secret, and hopefully they can do a good job of keeping this under wraps given that not every other Bachelor / Bachelorette has over the past few years. we are very much aware of how hard that can be when the internet is after you for spoilers every second of the day.

For the record, consider this your annual reminder that we’re a spoiler-free site. We don’t blame anyone who loves to watch with that in mind, but we knowledge that there are people who like the journey to be a tad more spontaneous.
