Is ‘Chicago PD’ season 4, episode 9 new tonight? Looking at a crossover ahead
Last week, “Chicago PD” gave us as epic two-hour installment that really did an outstanding job at laying some of the groundwork for everything that was going to be coming up later in the season. Antonio got himself set to join the cast of “Chicago Justice,” and we are now stuck waiting to see precisely what’s going to be coming up on the show next.
Unfortunately, you will be waiting for quite a while longer still. You won’t see anything more “Chicago PD”-related on NBC until Tuesday, January 3, which is the beginning of an epic crossover event. There will be a story told here across multiple nights, and that in turn will help set up the story of “Chicago Justice” even more than anything than we’ve seen to date.
Unfortunately, we still don’t know a whole lot in the way of details regarding what is going to be coming up on the show moving forward, given that NBC still hasn’t revealed that much about the story coming up. Do we know that Nick Wechsler of “Revenge” fame is coming on eventually as a former associate of Voight’s? Sure, but there’s not a precise start date for that just yet. The only thing that we can assume is that this show is largely going to play out similar to as it has for most of the series: Challenging cases, interesting character development, and a wide array of different twists and turns that we’re going to see from start to finish. There’ll probably be some more characters who come and go on the series just because that’s a part of real life in a police department.
For those of you who already miss Jon Seda on this show, remember that he’ll still be coming on here and there.
