‘Teen Wolf’ season 6, episode 3 preview: The search for Dylan O’Brien’s Stiles

Teen wolf -The bad news regarding “Teen Wolf” is that Dylan O’Brien is clearly indisposed on the series for a good while. That’s more due to logistics than necessarily anything that the show itself wants to do.

However, maybe there’s good news buried somewhere in there in that at least the writers aren’t going to make you suffer through a good four or five episodes without the Beacon Hills gang realizing that someone was missing from their lives. We’re already starting to see the revelations regarding Missing Stiles rise to the surface, and as we move into next week’s episode, they will only become more prominent.

Synopsis (via TV Guide) – “Scott, Lydia and Malia search for Stiles; and Liam and the others try to keep a friend safe from the Ghost Riders.”

The major problem that we see most of these characters running into is that the Ghost Riders aren’t like the Dread Doctors or the Beast of Gevaudan; they don’t operate under the same rules, and they have an agenda that is in many ways specific. They’re not going to be defeated by typical means. Learning about these characters will be the key to turning the tide, but unfortunately, we also presume that simultaneously, this will prove itself to be anything other than an easy task.

We know that for a long time, the bread and butter of “Teen Wolf” were the extreme action sequences, and probably a lot of the ‘shipping to go along with it. We do still believe that much of that is important, but at the same time, we do appreciate that we’re getting a chance to see a different side this season that is all the more emotional and psychological. This is a different sort of fear that the writers are introducing us to now.

Promo – Hey, look at Scott starting to remember! Also, just how freaky are the Ghost Riders? This gives us a pretty clear indication.
