‘Poldark’ season 2, episode 9 (finale) preview: What’s up for Ross, Demelza, Elizabeth on PBS

While the season 2 finale of “Poldark” aired a little bit earlier this year on the BBC in Britain, the season is coming to a close on PBS in just one week’s time. How will the show wrap up? Let’s just say that we expect there to be a fairly considerable amount of drama given not only where we are right now, but also where we could be going from here.

While we’ll wait until we get a little bit closer to the finale airing before we start dropping some of the bigger teasers that are out there, there are a few things that you should know right away.

1. We don’t want to say that this episode resolves anything when it comes to the tattered relationship between Ross and Demelza, but at the same time, you will see some evolution there as they continue to confront their problems. What you are also going to be seeing from Ross is him confronting one of the biggest decisions about his future that he’s made to date.

2. There will be further story to tell when it comes to the relationship between Dwight and Caroline.

3. There will be a moment involving Elizabeth that could alter the entire course of the series to come.

For those wondering, The BBC overseas already ordered a third season of “Poldark,” so there is no reason to worry about whether or not we are going to be at the end of the road for this show in the near future. We are going to be getting more! The bigger question when it comes to the show’s future is when, given that the new season is already filming and could be ready before next fall, should the network in the UK want to move it around.
