Ashley Benson hopes to work with ‘Pretty Little Liars’ ‘family’ again

The series finale of “Pretty Little Liars” is now officially in the can, at least in terms of the actors filming all of their scenes for it. So what does this mean moving forward for the cast? Well, they have a chance now to move on to their next big project, whatever that may be. It’s an opportunity for all of them to turn the page, and to go out there and see precisely what it is that the future may hold for all of them.

We imagine that for some of them, movies may have more immediate appeal than TV just because it’d be a change of pace, and an opportunity to take on one character for an extended period of time. With that being said, we imagine that many will eventually find gigs on other shows, and who knows? Maybe there’ll be some mini-reunions here and there.

Speaking per People Magazine, Ashley Benson had the following to say about her own hopes to work with some of these people again:

“They’re like my family. I’ve spent seven years with them, I’ve seen them more than I’ve seen my own family in the last seven years … It was really special to have such an amazing bond with these people, and the cool thing is I know that we’ll one day work together again.”

We do think that there is a reasonably good chance that this quote will be misconstrued to the point where some will interpret this as Benson saying that she wants to do more “Pretty Little Liars,” and we’re not sure that is going to happen. Everything we hear suggests that this show will have a definite ending. She may just be referring more to a desire to work with various people again on other projects.
