‘The X Factor’ UK results preview: Will Ryan Lawrie, Honey G, or Saara Aalto be eliminated?

We’re really now at a point where the rubber is starting to meet the road on “The X Factor,” and on this particular weekend, that means in particular looking to say goodbye to some of the people who have, at least for the most part, dominated the lion’s share of the airtime and attention this season.

So who could end up being sent home at the end of this? If we did have to narrow down the field to the possible candidates, we’d say that there are three.

1. Ryan Lawrie – He really should’ve gone last week, and judging from the fact that the show placed him first, we have a feeling that the producers would also like to see him gone. Other than Honey G, would he beat anyone else in a sing-off?

2. Saara Aalto – She’s also been in the bottom numerous times, and while she may be our favorite contestant remaining this season, we’re also writing this from America and like many other fans of hers, we’re not eligible to vote.

3. Honey G – Maybe this is a pipe dream that she goes home. We’re actually starting to think that she’s not one of those token novelty singers who goes home in sixth place; instead, she could actually make it to the final not based on talent, but on cynicism from people who want to laugh at the show for allowing her to make it this far. If Honey G is in the final, the producers have no one to blame but themselves for allowing this to happen.
