‘Poldark’ season 2, episode 8 preview (PBS): The aftermath for Ross, Demelza, and Elizabeth

On this past episode of “Poldark,” the title character did a fairly good job of detonating much of his world courtesy of his actions with Elizabeth. The way in which their encounter began is the subject of great controversy, and beyond that now, he has to try and deal with what is going to be some rather-intense aftermath to it. It’s going to be a dire challenge for him to figure out how to get it all back.

If you look below, what you can see right now are some of the first teasers for the upcoming episode airing on PBS Sunday, which will revolve in part around Ross trying to pick up the emotional pieces — but there will at the same time be a few other issues that rise to the surface, and rather quickly at that.

1. Demelza is going to be shattered and heartbroken by some of Ross’ latest actions, and as a result of these, she is going to begin thinking as to what is her own best move as she starts to look ahead at the remainder of her own life.

2. George and Elizabeth, meanwhile, are going to make some key decisions regarding their future, and they will reverberate through of the rest of the world of the show.

3. Following all of the sadness associated with herself and Dwight, we will see Caroline make a move that puts her back within more familiar social circles.

4. Ross will start to near some success in the business realm, but may have the false perception that this will somehow wash away the vast majority of the problems that he’s got going on within his life.

5. You will get to see one of the more lavish party scenes to date on the series, and what happens there ties back to one of the characters we’ve already mentioned within this article.
