‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7, episode 10 preview: Missy Peregrym guest-stars as Danny’s sister
We like to think that there are reasons to be excited about any episode of “Hawaii Five-0,” but if you were a fan of “Rookie Blue” for the many years that it was on, we have a feeling that you’re going to love the next new episode “Ka Luhi” (otherwise known as “The Burden”). After all, this installment is going to provide you with a rather unique opportunity to see Missy Peregrym on the show as Danny’s sister! This will offer up some opportunities to see some family bonding, but at the same time, we imagine that there are also going to be a few issues that arise when it comes to her relationship with someone else at a work conference.
We’ve got some of the first details from this episode below, but unfortunately, these don’t exactly give away all that much when it comes to the relationship between Missy’s storyline and the main case of the week.
Synopsis – “Five-0 investigates the 10-year-old cold case of a missing teen when a boy suffering from PTSD undergoes hypnosis and realizes he may have witnessed her murder. Also, Danny’s sister, Bridget (guest star Missy Peregrym), visits Oahu for a business conference, and he suspects that she may be getting too close to a co-worker.”
We don’t have any particular expectations for this story, but one thing that we’re very happy to be getting this winter is an opportunity to see a wide array of different stories when it comes to Danny’s past and present. We spent a good bit of time earlier this season focusing on McGarrett’s injury recovery and then relationships with Catherine and his mother; now, we’re getting something a little bit different, and in the process, will hopefully understand more when it comes to Danny’s family and his past.
