‘Blue Bloods’ season 7, episode 9 video: The difficulty at the center of ‘Confession’

We’ve got another episode of “Blue Bloods” entitled “Confession” coming up on CBS Friday night, and judging from the sneak peek that we’ve got for this installment, it could be one of the most challenging ones for Frank Reagan that we’ve seen to date.

What is the primary issue? Well, it has to do with the fact that there is a child in grave danger, but there may not be much a man who knows a thing or two about this situation can do in order to properly help. This source is bound by an oath to not disclose what it is he knows about the child, even though it may help to ensure his safety in the end.

While this sneak peek does not share in full what this secret is, it’s already been revealed by some other promos that this person is a priest. The child came to him in confession before the crisis, and now, this man of faith is incredibly torn. Violating the rules of confession is not something that can and should be taken lightly, and the actions of this said priest here feel as though they are a pretty clear reflection that he wants to maintain that important pillar of the church.

Can Frank and the NYPD find another way to resolve the crisis without the priest needed to share the finer details of the confession? That’s something that will, hopefully, be figured out over the course of the episode.

We know that there is also still great curiosity surrounding what is next for Jamie and Eddie after the two of them kissed on this past episode, but for the time being, CBS has not released any further information regarding their future. We just know that they will be attending a wedding on an upcoming episode of the series.
