‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6, episode 9 preview: Is Belle about to give birth?

Tonight, “Once Upon a Time” is airing an installment entitled “I’ll Be Your Mirror,” one that is certainly raising a pretty wide array of questions in terms of what could be coming up next as we get closer to the end of the first part of the season. This is a show unafraid of taking some risks, and we appreciate that! We also like that we’re not getting the same half-season structure as last time. Therefore, don’t assume that we’re going to have a completely different story in the new year that is barely connected to this one.

Here is what we can go ahead and tell you about what is going to be coming up next on ABC. “Changelings” is the title for the next new episode, and you will be waiting for a little while longer than usual to see precisely what is going to be coming up during it. Due to the American Music Awards next week, you won’t quite get a chance to see what is coming up until Sunday, November 27.

As for what this title is a reference to, a changeling is defined as a child, one who is supposedly substituted by fairies for a set of parents’ real child early on in life. It’s not entirely clear precisely how this translates to the show, or if we are looking at the literal definition of the word. For the time being, it’s just something to keep in mind.

Hopefully, we’ll have some other news on this episode soon enough; however, at the moment we do have to realize that ABC will probably be in no rush to release an official synopsis given the length of the hiatus.

Promo – Maybe it is Belle who could be having a child swapped before even giving birth? The promo below for the episode makes us question this as Rumpelstiltskin made it very-much clear that he’s out to do whatever he can in order to ensure that he gets his child.
