‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ reunion preview: Kelly Dodd’s past explored and more

Kelly DoddIf we were to compare a “Real Housewives of Orange County” reunion show to Thanksgiving Dinner, we figure that it’d go somewhat like this. In the first part of it, you see everyone starting to set the table and bring out the appetizers. By the second part of it, the main course is being served and some of the conversation’s getting close to boiling over. Tension between your relatives, who rarely speak to one another, is about to turn into full-on screaming. There’ll be most likely a few moments when that happens, and then there’ll be a lot of awkward laughter as well.

Want to get some further information regarding what’s going to lie ahead in the second part of Monday’s reunion show, and how that will fit this analogy perfectly? Then take a look at the synopsis below; specifically, we’re talking about a confrontation between Heather Dubrow and Kelly Dodd:

“Kelly faces the music for her behavior this season and reveals some shocking secrets about her past. Heather goes head-to-head with Kelly about her outbursts at the sushi party, while Shannon talks about her vow renewal and rocky relationship with her mother-in-law. Vicki’s daughter Briana visits the couch to dish about her mom’s relationship with the truth.”

Personally, we’ll be rather quick to admit that we’re never that big of a fan of the parts of the reunion show that more or less consist of constant screaming, and we like some of the more personal, intimate moments. Seeing the evolution of Vicki and Briana’s relationship remains interesting, and the same could be said for Shannon and her mother-in-law. These are two people who probably have sat together at many Thanksgivings, to further along that aforementioned analogy.

Hopefully, this reunion will set the stage for an epic conclusion to this season, with a little resolution sprinkled in here and there.
