‘Teen Wolf’ season 6 promo: Will Dylan O’Brien’s Stiles be forgotten?

The sixth season of “Teen Wolf” is going to be here before you know it on Tuesday, November 15 — it’s only one week away! After spending so much time waiting to see how the show would start to wrap things up, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. There are more than likely going to be some major twists ahead, but at the same time we don’t think that this particular batch of episodes is meant to be about that.

Instead, we imagine that this season is more about the emotional journey to the finish line, and seeing precisely what happens for some of these characters as they start to look towards their future. For Stiles in particular, we imagine that this is going to be incredibly difficult and emotional given that he may be wiped off the face of the Earth, and he faces the possibility of the rest of his friends moving forward without him.

Ultimately, the latest promo below via MTV is all about that. In this preview, you can see much of the chatter about the idea of Dylan O’Brien’s character going away. Here’s what we know about it right now:

1. It will be coming at the hands of the Ghost Riders, a mysterious entity who operates under their own set of motives.

2. It will likely sideline O’Brien for a good percentage of the season, though for how long ultimately remains unclear.

3. At first, the likes of Scott, Lydia, and the rest of the main characters will probably forgot about him entirely. Over time, though, they may start to realize that someone is missing from their lives, and that is where things could get a little more interesting.
