‘Gotham’ season 3 spoilers: Are Lee and Mario in trouble?
If we were Dr. Lee Thompkins, there is one thing within the world of “Gotham” that we would’ve done the moment that we had a chance to get away from the city: Stay away from the city. This is clearly not a place that you want to remain, given that every indication suggests that if you live in this city, terrible things happen to you on an almost-constant basis.
She’s already been made aware of this once this season, as Jervis Tetch tried to force Jim Gordon to choose between her and Valerie Vale on a recent episode. Neither died, but this move did expose Jim as caring more about his ex than the woman he was currently seeing; as a result of that, it seems like things between Jim and Valerie are now for the most part kaput.
Unfortunately for her, she is going to experience this more the hard way on the upcoming November 21 episode entitled “Mad City: Time Bomb.” This episode will feature the rehearsal dinner for herself and her new beau Mario. However, it’s also going to feature a significant threat to both Lee and her fiance being exposed. Jim Gordon still wants the best for her, even if he is not with her, and as a result of that, he’s going to be turning to a specifically well-connected person for help: Carmine Falcone. He may not love the guy, but at the same time he’s smart enough to acknowledge and recognize the value that he has in a role of making people disappear.
Also in this episode, you better be prepared to see Nygma on a revenge path, and Bruce Wayne learning more about the Court of Owls. This group’s been on a bit of a slow burn as of late, and we certainly expect to see that picking up steam now as we are entering the height of the drama in season 3A.
