‘Hawaii Five-0’ 150th episode video: Catherine learns some surprising news

Friday night’s “Hawaii Five-0” is going to mark a milestone, and based on the new sneak peek below, the revelations aren’t just going to be limited to matters off-screen.

In the sneak peek below for the episode, you can see a scene between Catherine (Michelle Borth) and Lynn (Sarah Carter), one where Lynn casually mentions that McGarrett was going to propose to her, assuming that this was something she was already aware of. As it turns out, not so much. You can see by the reaction on her face that she is surprised to hear the news, and where this story goes from here could be one of the more interesting developments from the remainder of the episode. Does Catherine change at all now that she has this information? What does this mean for her and Steve?

We don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves right now after watching this sneak peek, just because we haven’t seen much of any indication that Borth will be sticking around beyond this episode. The only thing that’s been reported is that this episode will be one that offers up a generous dose of mythology for Steve, and also features the return of Christine Lahti as his mother to go along with Borth. Given the recent comments by Alex O’Loughlin suggesting that he could leave after season 8, we probably need to appreciate these milestone episodes even more than we would otherwise. It’s not clear how many more of them we’ll have.

Before we go, here are two other specific teases for what you can expect in this episode.

1. Lahti’s Doris was captured after making a move to try and free Wo Fat’s father. Therefore, Catherine shows up to lead the rescue mission.

2. Be prepared for an emotional story for Chin as he looks for a way to change things up in terms of Sara’s adoption.
