‘Quantico’ season 2, episode 6 preview: Alex’s nightmare in ‘AQUILINE’
The second season of “Quantico” is one that has to date traveled about 100 miles per hour at almost every second, and as a result of that, there wasn’t a lot of time for anyone to breathe. That is the nature of the show when you consider that thwarting terrorist attacks against the country are often the name of the game.
However, there is an element of next week’s new installment “AQUILINE” that will slow things down, at least in terms of bringing some past memories of Alex’s life to mind — specifically, something from the first season that was memorable for all of the wrong reasons.
Synopsis – “At the Farm, the trainees learn their next task is to decide on a drone strike, which triggers Alex’s memories of Simon’s sacrifice. Meanwhile, Shelby and Leon’s relationship reaches the next level, and Nimah advises Alex and Ryan not to trust Harry. In the future, Alex questions if she can trust Lydia, leading to combat between the two.”
Hey, we do absolutely understand why someone like Alex could have trust issues — why wouldn’t she? If she didn’t, we would wonder a little bit about whether or not she really had her head on straight anymore.
Promo – This doesn’t necessarily give you a whole lot in the way of new content, but it does raise an ever-familiar question for Alex: How can you trust anyone when there’s a good chance those closest to you are working for terrorists? This is clearly something that she’s going to have to contend with over the course of the next several episodes, and figure it out of she wants to have any hope of making it through all of this alive.
