‘Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X’ episode 7 video: Taylor’s revenge; Zeke’s alliance

The first thing that we have to say after watching the promo below for Wednesday’s “Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X” episode is that we’re legitimately surprised. Given that we have now 16 people left in the game, we assumed that there would be a move to switch the tribes back into two groups. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case and the three-tribe format is going to continue for a little while longer.

What doesn’t surprise us at all, however, is seeing Taylor want some element of revenge over Figgy being voted out of the game. We’re just not entirely sure how he is going to get that given the present configuration of people who are still taking part in the season. Just look for a moment at the roster on the Takali tribe. Ken and Jessica are people who value loyalty, and they’ve worked with Adam already. Why would they flip against him, especially since Figgy, and by extension Taylor, made it clear that they had some allies elsewhere in the game?

As for the alliance that seems to be forming between David and Zeke, it makes some sense given that they are both incredibly smart guys who love the game, and there is a certain joy that we could see in the two of them working together. Our worry for David now is that he’s starting to become a little too dangerous for his own good. Entering the merge, there is something that’s good about looking as though you’re weak in challenges and afraid of everything that is out there. Now, he’s getting a reputation for being good at finding idols. Zeke doesn’t necessarily need him as an ally given he already has Chris and also Adam on another tribe. We wouldn’t be shocked if David becomes a shock elimination at some point over the next episode or two, and a move that further shows off Zeke’s own ruthlessness in the game. (Of course, we don’t want that to happen.)

The preview does tease something shocking, but we don’t really get enough of it in here for us to comment on it further.

For now, tell us in the comments what you want to see on the next new “Survivor” episode!
