‘Quantico’ season 2, episode 5 video: Alex wakes up in a compromising spot

What is the primary focus of Sunday night’s new episode of “Quantico”? It seems to be one word more so than any other, and that word is manipulation. It’s the name of the game when it comes to being a spy, since you need to be able to be a step ahead of most of your adversaries at just about every second of the day.

With that, Alex Parrish and company are certainly going to feel rather compromised by how they wake up in the first of the three sneak peeks below: In bed together. Owen reveals to them that they were all drugged, and as a result of that they’ve got a good 77 minutes that they don’t quite remember. It’s probably not as it actually seems here (much to the disappointment of many fans out there), but Owen’s point remains here largely the same: As a spy, you want to be able to have complete control of your surroundings at almost every second.

The first two sneak peeks that we have below cover the “present” storyline involving Alex and Owen; now, let’s look more towards the future.

This final preview is where things get so much more dangerous for Alex, given that it’s clear she is in the Crisis Zone, and the terrorists have seemingly found her after she made a rather-bold attempt to infiltrate it and try to shake things up from within. It’s easy to admire Alex for her never-ending effort, even if at the same time we’re not exactly surprised that it met this end for her … for now. Remember here that there is still plenty of time for her to figure out another way to get out of this.
