Given that this season of “The Bachelor” featuring Nick Viall as the lead is currently filming, it does certainly make sense for there to be interest already in the cast. All you have to do is head over to social media to get some other information regarding various sightings all over the place, and we absolutely believe that this is a behavior pattern that is not going to be going away at all in the near future. Why in the world would it? There is no incentive whatsoever for people who love the show to stop having an interest in it.
Yet, at the same time, we personally prefer to wait until ABC makes an official announcement on the cast before talking about it here at the site, but you could still be waiting for a little while still.
Last year, it was on December 7 that the network first unveiled the participants, and with a few exceptions here and there, that is the right timeline. There’s no immediate hurry for the show to announce this stuff early, mostly because they know there is really not all that much good that comes out of doing that for them. It makes filming more difficult if they do, since spies around the world will know the faces of the women to watch out for.
This timing works because filming tends to end before Thanksgiving, and this gives everyone a good month to start preparing for the new season to start early on in the new year. We’re excited on our end to start spotlights once we get close to the premiere, that way we can start to see who some of the potential contenders really are.
