MTV’s ‘Scream’ Halloween special sneak peek: Emma finds a body

In just one day’s time, the Halloween Special of “Scream” is set to air on MTV, and we imagine it being just about everything you would expect. It will be frightening at times, it will be crazy, and we have a feeling that we’re going to have a chance to see a few surprises here and there.

The sneak peek below via MTV is a good example of just one of them you’re going to see. Basically in this one, you’re getting a chance to see the character of Emma in particular in some precarious positions. For one, she’s yet again alone at a time and a place you really shouldn’t be (if we were one of these characters, we’d never allow ourselves to be alone EVER after what they’ve been through), and the call of a stranger comes into play and shakes things up once more.

Outside, this is where things start to get a little crazy as another dead body is found. Consider this a jumping-off point for the remainder of this two-hour event, which is designed in order to tie together some of the loose ends while at the same time giving you a few creepy new storylines to boot. We thought at one point that this was going to be the end of the series, but given MTV’s recent decision to pick up six additional episodes of the show, this is really only going to serve as a bridge between one set of episodes and the next.

In the end, let’s think of this special as a way to bridge the gap between one batch of episodes and the next. We’ll be back soon to discuss all of this further.
