‘Poldark’ season 2, episode 7 preview: Ross prepares for an ambush

The next new episode of “Poldark” is airing on BBC One on Sunday, and if there is one thing that the title character is looking to do right now, it’s rather simple: Try to make ends meet. Thanks to a secret donation by Caroline, the character was able to spare himself the wrath of George for a time, but that doesn’t quite make him out of the woods just yet. He’s still got to find a way to survive in this world without much headway in the mining business. This is where smuggling comes into play.

The preview below from Sunday night’s new episode gives you a perfectly good sense as to just how dangerous that business is, as well, given that he and the other burglars find themselves victims of a setup by some soldiers. If you watch this show primarily for the action more so than anything else, odds are that you will enjoy this very much!

Just in case you are interested in getting some further assorted teasers for Sunday’s episode, here are a few things that you should watch out for…

1. Demelza is actually going to do her part to try and warn Ross that he may be walking into an ambush situation. Unfortunately for him, it’s clearly not going to work out altogether well.

2. Elizabeth is going to be both shocked and surprised at a sudden amount of attention that George is giving her. What she will wonder is to what end this attention is coming.

3. Remember that Dwight and Caroline are going to make an attempt at eloping in this episode? Well, let’s just say that some surprising developments could cause that plan to be thrown off-course.
