‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 8 spoilers: Bonnie faces a difficult choice

What’s coming up on the eighth season of “The Vampire Diaries“? There are certainly quite a few meaty stories to come over the course of the final season, but we know that one we’re in particular excited about is one that revolves around Bonnie. On the upcoming third episode of this episode entitled “You Decided That I Was Worth Saving” (airing November 4), we are going to see a story that revolves a little bit around Kat Graham’s character making one of her most difficult choices through the entirety of the show’s run.

The CW released the official synopsis for this episode earlier this weekend; take a look at what’s coming:

“As Enzo (Michael Malarkey) continues to fight the control over him, Bonnie (Kat Graham) finds herself at the center of a deadly game and forced to make a heart wrenching decision involving two of the most important people in her life. At the Armory, Alaric (Matt Davis) researches a mysterious artifact that he hopes will help in their fight to get Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo back. Finally, Damon’s downward spiral leads him to Tyler Lockwood (guest star Michael Trevino) who attempts to talk some sense into him before it’s too late.”

Ultimately, there’s a lot of great stuff coming here in terms of drama, with one of the biggest headlines still being the return of Trevino. Given that this is the final season of the show, one of the luxuries we can expect to see most likely is an array of various guest-stars popping in to help send the show off. Hopefully, that will include Nina Dobrev as we get closer to the finale — and hopefully there’ll be a way that allows Elena to return without Bonnie dying in the process.
