‘NCIS’ season 14, episode 4 sneak peeks: McGee’s proposal planning; Gibbs, Quinn go out to sea

NCIS -Love is in the air on Tuesday night’s new “NCIS” episode — or at least it is for some characters. We’ve got a taste of that in one of the two sneak peeks below for “Love Boat,” which is going to feature in part the story of how McGee plans to propose to Delilah.

In the first sneak peek, you get a sense of what he is planning, and it is definitely rather elaborate! It’s going to begin with McGee laying out to Bishop all of the precise mathematics that he is putting into this, which includes being sure that he’s got the shadows in the right places with the Washington Monument and the White House. Given how perfect Tim seems to want this, we’re assuming that the odds of perfection happening are pretty close to slim to none. Something’s going to happen to probably screw this up, and that’s just something that he has to be prepared for — especially since if something goes wrong, he may not be able to attempt it again for several more months.

In following this, we’ve also got another sneak peek for you that makes it rather clear that makes it clear what the primary case of the week is. Someone will have died while out aboard a Navy ship, and Gibbs, Quinn, and Palmer will due their part to investigate it while keeping things hush-hush at the same time. While we don’t know necessarily why the powers-that-be want this one under wraps, their handling of it is certainly notable, and something we should keep a lookout for as we get further into the episode.

Also, let’s take a minute to applaud the show continuing to find ways to put Quinn and Gibbs out there working together. Their energy so far through three episodes is proving to be extremely fun.
