‘Pretty Little Liars’ series finale: Lucy Hale shares memories at final table-read
The series finale for “Pretty Little Liars” is airing on Freeform this coming spring, but for the cast and crew of the show, they’re having the opportunity to go through the wide range of crazy emotions right now.
If you look below, you can see one particular example of this courtesy of Lucy Hale’s official Instagram page right now. Through that, you can see precisely how emotional an occasion it was for her and really all of her close friends who she worked with on the show through thick and thin for many years. When this series first premiered on what was then ABC Family, there really wasn’t a whole lot in the way of expectations for what it would be. The hope was just for a solid hit from people who enjoyed the book series. What this became since was an obsession for many; it’s not at a peak in terms of viewership anymore, but it is absolutely still doing a remarkable job.
So where will the final ten episodes take us next year? They’ll have to resolve what Hanna precisely is up to, the further aftermath of murdering Noel Kahn, and all sorts of relationship drama. After all, we now know that Ezra’s ex Nicole is actually still alive, and that Caleb and Hanna are much closer to being a thing than they have been in some time. We imagine that there will be a wide array of delightfully-juicy and entertaining moments, but also some fun drama to go along with it.
Basically, we expect that this series finale will be a celebration of almost everything that the show has cultivated from the very beginning of its run.
