‘The Voice’ tickets go fast, ‘The Flash’ fan impresses, Marvel’s ‘Luke Cage’ script security tight
A quick glance at the Tuesday’s TV selection and a squeal of joy can be heard coming from my lips. The season premieres are still rolling out and there are plenty of new shows, stars and story lines to check out. What could this be called? Well, at my house it’s called paradise with a remote.
Want “The Voice” tickets? Fans awestruck watching live show
What could be better than watching “The Voice”? What about watching “The Voice” live! This reality singing competition has always offered free tickets to fans, but this season it’s tough to get a seat. Want to know why? The talent! Upping the bar, the singers who are picked for the show are better than ever. If you want an experience to remember, apply for the ticket waiting list of “The Voice” to see if you can watch the show live. Or if you’d rather sing with the TV, tune in to NBC to watch blind auditions on Tuesday night.
“The Flash” fan shows true dedication before Season 3 Premiere
“The Flash” fan base is extremely loyal. How loyal? I thought you would never ask. Perhaps this amazing dog dish holder will offer a glimpse of the excitement that comes with being a faithful viewer. Taking an ordinary dog stand for dog bowls, this Maryland viewer turned it into a beautiful tribute to the character and the show. It’s beyond impressive and I bet the dog loves it too! Catch season three premiere of “The Flash” on The CW Tuesday!
“Luke Cage” script is top secret; Mike Colter claims Marvel watches him
Mike Colter was dishing on “Conan” Monday night that Marvel keeps tabs on him. In particular, they are making sure the “Luke Cage” script wouldn’t be leaked. Joking that they follow him, only give him a few lines at a time and might even have his DNA, the actor offered a glimpse of the tight security around this new TV show. Marvel scripts have leaked in the past and they made adjustments to make sure it didn’t happen again. After breaking Netflix with the debut of the series, it appears Marvel knows how to keep a secret. Take a peek at Mike Coulter explaining.
And finally…. Is that Jimmy Kimmel’s belt for sale online?
The “Jimmy Kimmel Live” garage sale was held behind the ABC studio Saturday. It was in memory of late Uncle Frank with proceeds going to My Friend’s Place. I had to privilege of meeting Uncle Frank on several occasions. He was the nicest guy. Spending extra time with fans, he took endless photos and gave out autographs as long as there was a line. Perhaps that’s why I am so annoyed at the people reselling the garage sale items for a substantial profit online. For example, there are “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” belts for sale on the biggest online marketplace. It’s unclear if this is actually the host’s belts listed, but it’s $20 each and references the show. Should we care? Well, yeah. Uncle Frank was so generous and sale proceeds were for the charity. Seeing items resold online for a profit is truly a bummer.
