‘Madam Secretary’ season 3, episode 1 videos: Elizabeth takes on climate-change policy

MadamWith the third season of “Madam Secretary” premiering on CBS Sunday night, we’re glad to have something that will hopefully make the wait for its arrival a little bit easier: Some assorted sneak peeks for what to expect! These make it clear that this is certainly going to be an eventful hour of television, especially when it comes to Elizabeth figuring out if she will be the Vice-Presidential candidate or if this is something she’s going to pass on.

In the first sneak peek below, it looks like things heading towards taking this on courtesy of some interactions with her family. Yet, at the same time we’ve certainly learned over the course of this show that you really cannot be too sure.

The other two sneak peeks focus on something a little more political, and a situation that is going to be rather tricky for Elizabeth to navigate if she does seek higher office: Working on her own personal policies in relation to the policies of a given political party. After she makes some comments about climate change that are in opposition to what President Dalton believes, she is going to have to explain herself to multiple different sources on the subject. By the end of the episode, she’s going to work to even lobby the President to change his own philosophy.

Want a couple of other teases? Well, expect something big to happen from a family front and this episode, and also brace yourself for an appearance from Morgan Freeman. The acclaimed actor, (who’s voice we would want to narrate our lives) is also directing the episode and is an executive producer on the show. He will be reprising his season 2 role as well. The more Morgan Freeman we can get the better for all.
