‘Gotham’ season 3 spoilers: Who’s hunting for Ivy?

On this past episode of “Gotham,” we got our first look at what life was going to be like for the new version of Ivy Pepper — and also precisely what she was capable of. While she may not necessarily be a killer first and foremost, she has that capacity, and she really doesn’t like anyone messing with plants. She’s absolutely far more cold than she was previously, and she does have a better understanding of how to use a certain aspect of the famed comic-book character’s “ability.”

For now, her story appears to be somewhat of a slow burn, but rest assured someone is going to eventually going to try and locate her — and that someone is Bruce. you can see some proof of that in the synopsis below for “Anything for You,” the upcoming October 17 episode:

“Crime in Gotham is at an all-time high, as Penguin struggles to uphold his promises to the city. Meanwhile, Butch goes down a dark path with the infamous Red Hood Gang and Bruce begins to investigate Ivy’s whereabouts.”

Three cheers for a Butch story! This is something we’ve been hoping to see for some time, and we’re certainly happy that it’s here — and that we’re bringing back the Red Hood Gang at the same exact time. The real trouble for Butch, i.e. the thing we constantly worry about, is that he is someone who is not from the DC Comics world, and as a result of that, he could be in danger at almost any moment.
