‘The Fall’ season 3, episode 1: Start time, assorted teasers for Gillian Anderson – Jamie Dornan series
For everyone out there who appreciates the story of “The Fall,” rest assured that the time for waiting is just about at an end: today is the day of the show’s season 3 premiere! The series will return to BBC Two at 9:00 p.m. London time, which you can adjust accordingly for your region. There are six installments set for this season, which could very well be the last for the series starring Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan.
So what can you expect within this first episode? Much of that boils down to resolving the cliffhanger from the end of last season. Paul Spector (Dornan) was shot, but he is still alive and is being transferred to the hospital. This begins the moral quandary for Stella Gibson (Anderson): She wants him to live so that he can spend the rest of his life behind bars. Rooting for him to death would be her turning into more of the monster that he previously presented himself as.
Here’s where things could start to get a little more complicated:
“News of Spector’s arrest and life-threatening injuries reach Katie and she plots to help him. With the powers-that-be questioning Gibson’s handling of the case, her determination to get a conviction is tested to the full.”
Could Katie find a way to release Spector of his current fate? Given that there are so many episodes to go for this series still, there is a part of us that inevitably feels as though things are going to get far more complicated before they are resolved.
