‘Big Brother: Over the Top’ premiere: Did Jozea Flores or Jason Roy return?

Over the Top -

Tonight, we had the premiere of “Big Brother: Over the Top,” but in many ways this barely even felt like a show so much as just watching the live feeds. While we didn’t have much in the way of edited packages, we did have something really cool: Getting a chance to see some of the players arrive in the house and wander around. Scott was the first to enter, which could mean he’s cursed since the first person to enter the house has never won any season of North American “Big Brother.”

One of the things that made this whole experience even weirder was not knowing precisely when the biggest announcement of the night would be made: Who would be returning between Jozea Flores and Jason Roy? The show really made you wait for it, as the announcement was not made until a good couple of hours or so into the show. When it eventually happened, though, it was Jason who got the call! He was ushered in, and immediately started sharing some stories about how to handle certain aspects of living in the house.

We’d say for the most part that watching them introduce themselves and start to work through initial awkwardness has been fun. Alex seems not thrilled to be in the house at the same time as her sister Morgan, and that’s where most of our joy as a viewer is coming from right now … that and watching people try out the same icebreakers on different people.

Tomorrow, we’ll be back with something a little more in-depth on the first night.
