‘Dancing with the Stars 23’ results: Was Amber Rose, Rick Perry, or Ryan Lochte eliminated week 3?

“Dancing with the Stars” on Tuesday night had its second results show of the season, and this one had potential to be some drama. After all, remember for a minute here that six dancers entered the night safe, and this Face-Off week reduced the odds of some lower-scored Stars sneaking by to the next round. There were six pairs tonight who could leave the show feeling pretty darn good about both themselves and their future.

So who was in danger? We saw that Rick Perry & Emma Slater could be facing bad news during the show, and the same went for Amber Rose & Maksim Chmerkovskiy. While we personally would have thought for sure that Rick would go home if it was down to these two, crazier things have happened. We figured that someone like Terra Jole would be safe, and that could mean that someone else like Ryan Lochte could be in danger.

Ultimately, the end result here was fairly predictable: Rick Perry is gone. Is anyone surprised? Well, they really shouldn’t be. The former Governor had a solid conservative base that we felt could keep him around in the competition a little bit longer, but his lack of skill was just too vast on this particular season. We do think that he did a good job at least appealing to his base on this show, and while we may not agree with him on everything politically, at least the guy went for it and tried to have a little bit of fun with the time that he was in the cast.
