‘Big Brother: Over the Top’ cast spotlight: Meet ‘OTT’ houseguest Morgan Willett

Morgan -For some random reason, “Big Brother: Over the Top” decided to take a page out of the “Big Brother Canada” playbook this coming season and is giving us siblings. There’s not too much known about them just yet in terms of the game, such as if the producers will make them play together like the Paquette brothers or if they will get a chance to shine on their own. Personally, we wouldn’t even tell the other players that Morgan and Alex Willett are related, and just let them fester in their own paranoia.

For the sake of our spotlights for this CBS All Access season, we’re going to be treating these two as separate players, hoping that somehow we can will this into the universe.

Bio – Morgan is originally from Granbury Texas southwest of the DFW area, but she now lives in Austin following her time at the University of Texas. She was a cheerleader there for the entirety of her college education, and she now works as a publicist.

Strengths – She is very high-energy, and she does have that same sort of Natalie quality to her where she wants to make other people feel good and be very encouraging. This is something that we feel is an extremely underrated skill in a game that is largely social; you gotta live with other people! Given her cheerleading background, we figure that Morgan should be rather good at endurance challenges or tasks that require some athletic ability. She’s also outgoing and seems to have some understanding of the game courtesy of her family — though she doesn’t seem to be the fan of the family.

Weaknesses -If it’s been Morgan and her sister Alex to stay in the game, we feel rather confident that Morgan will fall on her own sword since it seems to be more of her sister’s dream to be there. We’re not sure how much competitiveness she has beyond just being on the show, and she may be overrating her ability to charm other people with a prize on the line. She also lists Frankie Grande as one of her favorite players because of his “energy,” which was one of the reasons why he was always on everyone’s radar.

Prediction – We actually got see Morgan getting very far in the game, given that she’s probably the least-threatening of the Willett sisters and she’ll be a likable presence in the house. The question we have is whether or not she’s going to be able to lie and scheme effectively — there’s a difference between having a willingness to do it and actually delivering on it.
