‘Blue Bloods’ season 7, episode 2 preview: What lies ahead in ‘Good Cop Bad Cop’

Blue Bloods season 7Given that much of “Blue Bloods” as a series revolves around issues of morality impacting members of the police, you really cannot be surprised that we are getting an episode entitled “Good Cop Bad Cop.” The real surprise is probably the sole fact that it did not happen sooner.

So where is the story going next following a particularly harrowing episode for Danny Reagan? The synopsis below offers up a few clues, and then also at the same time some further information as to what is going on with Frank:

“Danny and Baez investigate the death of an elderly woman who was shot in her home by a stray bullet. Also, Frank faces ridicule from his department when he disciplines a disrespectful cop, and Erin steps in to help her detective, Anthony, find a legal solution to a case that’s personal to him.”

By and large, this episode sounds like traditional “Blue Bloods” in terms of giving you a mix of police politics and police work, with Frank tilting more towards the former as per usual. His best conflicts are the ones where the old ways of “doing things” faces off with a new order, and he has to figure out the proper way to bridge the two. Maybe that will be the case here, but it is a little too early to tell. for now, just be grateful that “Blue Bloods” is back! We’re pleased to have these discussions and these articles once more.
