‘Big Brother 19’: Our top eight female All-Star contenders
Yesterday, we posted our list of the eight most worthy male All-Star candidates for a future season of “Big Brother,” and we have to say that for the most part, we were surprised by the overall positive reaction to it. There are some snubs (we’re still kicking ourselves for not getting Eric Stein on there), but at the same time it’s a solid list of people who could be both entertaining and also good players.
In focusing on the women today, we do think that the same thing applies. Do we think that all of these people would be asked back? Absolutely not; heck, there are probably only a few who are on CBS’ radar. These are just the people who we think could bring something to the game that is new and exciting. Note that we’re only really looking at first-time players for this list, and also mostly from the post All-Stars era of the game. We also don’t actually believe season 19 will be All-Stars — we’re just writing this as thought it could be.
Natalie Cunial (season 9) – It’ll absolutely never happen. “Big Brother 9” is, to quote “Community,” the gas-leak season of the crop. Yet, try to tell us that there isn’t something intrinsically interesting about what Natalie would be like if she was to come back and play the game now.
Natalie Martinez (season 11) – From one Natalie to another. The biggest flaw in season 11 Natalie’s game was simply that she continuously elevated herself on a high moral pedestal, and didn’t always want to own some of her moves on a game level and separate that from life. If she could let loose and embrace the devious side of her personality, we do think she’s a highly-underrated player who can do a lot without winning competitions.
Kalia Booker (season 13) – Fairly smart strategist who made a few mistakes at the wrong time and, much like a few other players, was hurt severely by Brendon re-entering the house. Seeing her play again would be really interesting give that she does have at the very least final four upside.
Shelly Moore (season 13) – A player who played a game that was similar in some ways to Andy Herren prior to Andy coming into the house. Her problem was mostly just that she showed her cards a little too early, and wasn’t capable of winning the competitions when she had to.
Amanda Zuckerman (season 15) – We recognize that CBS seems to be at present avoiding season 15 like the plague, and that is a shame given that there were especially some notable female personalities on that season. Amanda was a great villain and at least for a good percentage of her season, a very sound player.
Vanessa Rousso (season 17) – By far the most dominant strategic player of her season, and she’s easily a top three female strategist over the course of the show’s history. If she answered a couple of questions differently during the final Head of Household Competition, she wins and she’s considered up there with the greats. she’s gotta play again.
Audrey Middleton (season 17) – There’s zero doubt that Audrey, despite being an early boot, should return for another season. We do think that she possesses some of the skills necessarily but just has to tone down what happened the first time. She could come back in almost as a blank slate, and be able to make a few moves and operate in a way nobody seems coming.
Tiffany Rousso (season 18) – Yes, we’re aware of the fact that Vanessa’s also on this season, but in looking at the roster of female season 18 players, she’s probably the one with the most untapped potential. It’s up to the rest of the players to split them up, since if they make it far it’s clearly everyone else’s fault because this is so obvious.

Will you ever do a season and winner ranking?

It’s certainly something I’ve thought about — my biggest challenge is balancing it out because I didn’t see feeds for some of the earlier seasons.
