‘Big Brother 18’ finale: Da’Vonne Rogers on giving Nicole the win, jury ouse (backyard interview)
Da’Vonne Rogers was a huge personality when she was around on “Big Brother,” though ironically the thing that everyone may be talking about right now is her choice to vote for Nicole over Paul at the end. We thought he had it! Yet, Da’Vonne made the choice she was going to make, and we were interested to see what she had to say after the fact.
Below, take a look at some of her comments with Jeff on CBS All Access in the backyard. We were looking forward to what she had to say here!
On voting for Nicole – “She played a hell of a game … I thought more people were going to vote for her. I was shocked that so many people voted for Paul. I tell people that ‘Big Brother’ is not a popularity contest, and even though [Paul was fun], she played a hell of a game.”
On James versus Paul – “James would’ve lost. I would’ve voted for James.”
On Victor – “I was excited! I thought it was going to be me (laughs).”
On returning a third time – “Call me in a few years! This was rough.”
On the jury house – “That jury house was hell … It feels good [to be out], because being in there I felt like I was suffocating … Paulie [ruined] a lot of it.”
On Zakiyah – “The wedge definitely stayed there. I will always love her and she will always have a place in my heart … [but] I feel like she’s devaluing herself.”
On “Over the Top” – “Team Jason all the way!”
On what she could have done – “Win comps … I shouldn’t have given the dubstep comp to James, because [I could’ve won this] and put Nicole on the block.”
