‘Scream Queens’ season 2, episode 2 preview: Colton Haynes arrives; Niecy Nash returns

It’s been a long time since “Scream Queens” first premiered on Fox, but tonight brought the craziness when it comes to seeing the hospital setting for the first time — and also seeing the likes of Taylor Lautner and John Stamos for the first time.

So how are we following that story up? How about with one entitled “Warts and All”? We like to think that this could be a reference to a character who is played by Colton Haynes of “Arrow” fame, who will be arriving on the show with some serious ailments that will be interesting to watch play out.

Also, we’ve got the return of Chad and Denise! These were two of the best characters from season 1, so to even just get a few seconds of the two of them on the show is something worth celebrating. If you’re interested in some more insight beyond this, we suggest checking out the synopsis below:

“A new patient (guest star Colton Haynes) with a hideous ailment visits the hospital in hope of a cure, but finds a love interest instead. Meanwhile, Chad returns to win Chanel back and, in the process, discovers a dark secret of Brock’s. Then, after another run-in with the killer, Munsch enlists the help of new Quantico special agent Denise Hemphill.”

Ultimately, we figure that we’ll be spending a ton of time on CarterMatt coming up with various “who is the killer” theories, but it’s probably a little early to do that now. The big irony here, though, is that at the end of the season, we’ll probably look back at the premiere thinking “oh, that was a big clue.”
