‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ preview: Teresa Giudice challenges Rosie, Kathy
Tonight, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is taking on one of its biggest challenges to date on a meta level: Trying to air against the Emmys. How many people are going to be watching this show live? We suppose we’ll find out an answer to that when the ratings come out in a couple of days, but we suspect that it’s going to have a hard time bringing in the viewers. The Emmys are a monster.
Below, we’ve got for you a sneak peek that shows one thing more so than anything else: Teresa Giudice means business when it comes to trying to find some peace in her life. As for whether or not she’s actually going to find it … well, let’s just say that we’re not all that confident about that. It’s hard to feel good about that when we’ve seen the rinse-and-repeat pattern time and time again of her fixing relationships, and then watching them falling apart a couple of weeks later.
In this preview, the problem comes with her, Kathy Wakile, and Rosie, as they all continue to clash. This is a stressful time for Teresa in particular with Joe’s prison sentence looming, and we suppose that makes these sort of conflicts on her even harder than they would be otherwise. Do we think that she will be able to turn things around in time? Probably, but we don’t know if it will stick. Things have improved between her and Melissa Gorga, but there is plenty of tension still there with her and her one-time close friend Jacqueline Laurita.
