‘The X Factor’ UK spoilers: Emma Bunton joining Mel B at Simon Cowell’s Judges Houses
While the bootcamp round of “The X Factor” is what is going to be coming up next down the pipeline, we’re not going to focus this article too much on that. Why is that? Well, we’ve got a more pressing topic: Judges Houses, and Simon Cowell’s apparent decision to make this into more of a Spice Girls reunion than ever before.
We knew previously that Cowell was going to bring Mel B onto the show for this stage of the competition, and that does make some sense given that the two parties work together on “America’s Got Talent” and have also done this show in the past, as well.
Now, we’re happy to say that we’ve got some further verification that Emma Bunton is going to be there, as well. This is according to a report from the Daily Star, and this does help to give the show that extra little bump of star power it may have been looking for.
As for why Simon went with Mel in particular to be his adviser for the Judges Houses stage, we’ve also got a quote from a source via The Sun on the subject:
“Simon is hungrier than ever to win and wants Mel’s caustic and honest advice to spice up the ITV series … She knows exactly what it takes to cut it in the business too. Simon is confident he’s got the winning formula.”
It has already been reported that Simon is going to be working with the Girls category this year, which is exciting given that he’s done this more on the American version of the show than in Great Britain.
