‘Halt and Catch Fire’ season 3, episode 6 video: Cameron and Tom’s online chat

Right when you thought that Tom wasn’t going to be much of a story on “Halt and Catch Fire” season 3, the character reared his head once more. Now, it also looks like there is going to be plenty more in the way of story for him as we press on further and further into this season.

For some other evidence on that, you don’t have to look any further than the new sneak peek below! In this, you can get a pretty good sense as to what is going on with Cameron as she has a brief communication with him via chat about his mother, and how busy she has become at the moment at work.

Ultimately, we’d say that “distracted” is really the apt word to use for her more than anything else, largely because of how she could be reeling still from her recent revelation in regards to Donna. She lied to her about the acquisition, and whether or not Diane was going to let her fire the new employees. That changes the trust and the structure of the relationship, and the moment that all of hits blows up, we imagine it will be in a shocking, nuclear fashion that could put the company at risk depending on the reaction.
