‘Madam Secretary’ season 3 spoilers: Further details on premiere
The third season of “Madam Secretary” is going to be coming your way on Sunday, October 3, and while we know that Elizabeth McCord has a key decision to make in terms of whether or not she should join President Dalton on the ticket, there could be a few things that serve as distractions to that cause.
With that, we present you with the official synopsis below for “Sea Change,” an episode that should have quite a bit going for it in terms of storylines that cause you to think, and also make you question just if McCord could get more done in her current position:
“When a storm destroys a naval base in Bahrain, Elizabeth urges President Dalton to reexamine his approach to climate change and his overall foreign policy, something that could jeopardize his re-election campaign. Also, Jose Campos (Carlos Gómez) tries to bring Henry back into the DIA fold, and the McCords worry that their family is being stalked when they discover Jason’s laptop may have been hacked.”
The story of Jason’s laptop could be a particularly harrowing one just in terms of the cost of fame, and also the cost of being particularly good at your job. Elizabeth is not your ordinary person working in government; she has a list of people out the door due to diplomacy who may have a bone to pick with her here and there. Trying to figure out how to protect her family while also protecting her country is no easy feat.
If you forgot, this premiere is going to feature an appearance from Morgan Freeman, who is also directing the episode. This marks the second straight premiere in which he has done that. (He serves as an executive producer on the project.)
