‘America’s Got Talent’ finalist spotlight: Viktor Kee

Viktor Kee -

We’ve made it this afternoon to the end of the road in regards to our “America’s Got Talent” finalist spotlight series, but we are rather happy to be concluding it with someone in Viktor Kee who we consider to be an extreme talent like no other. He’s one of the most interesting and innovative jugglers that the show has brought on, mostly because he doesn’t need to rely on danger stunts or jugging random objects in order to generate applause. His atmosphere and the emotion he puts into it are big reasons for his success.

Now that we’ve said that, can this success be replicated one final time? Let’s do our part to analyze that below.

Path to finale – Through most of the early rounds, he soared through without much of an issue before getting through on the voting results alone during the quarterfinals. In the semifinals, he did need a little bit of a boost in order to make it through to the next round courtesy of the public vote after the judges’ deadlocked on their decision.

Strengths – In terms of pure juggling ability, Viktor is sensational and there really are not many others we’ve seen quite like him. Also, he is able to emote in a way we’ve never seen someone in this field do. It’s almost like each one of his routines tells some sort of story, and we wish other acts would focus on that emotional connection with the audience since it’d get them so much further.

Weaknesses – Viktor is not perfect in so far as performing goes, and juggling is the sort of act where one mistake takes you right out of the performance. He has to be on the top of his game, and also present something that stands on its own ever so slightly from all that he has done so far. He’s in danger to begin with just because a juggler has never won this show before.

Winner odds – Fairly low, and that’s a bummer because we do love Viktor and we’re super-thrilled to see everything that is going to be coming up with him for the finale. Anything can happen, though, since we figure you could claim that his placement last week was because of The Passing Zone being in contention with him.
