‘Quantico’ season 2 spoilers: A brief tease of some time jumps

Throughout the first season of “Quantico,” flash-forwards were a plot device that was used on a fairly regular basis. Personally, we made it clear that we weren’t too big of a fan of it, given that the twist mostly served as a frustrating reminder that there were a billion different things going on. We would’ve honestly preferred either one story or the other, and with that, we were somewhat bummed to see that this was continuing moving into season 2.

Then again, we’re not going to write off the possibility of this working moving forward just because we weren’t a fan of it on this past occasion. We’ll certainly be fine giving it a chance! What we’ve got for you below are some of the first details regarding the upcoming second episode of the season entitled “Lipstick” (via SpoilerTV), which reference two different time periods to go along with some of Alex Parrish’s likely early training at the CIA. We also get another reminder that some other familiar faces will continue to be involved in the story somehow:

“New CIA recruits run counter-surveillance exercises at The Farm; in the future, Ryan and Raina try to thwart the terrorists’ plan to blend in with hostages.”

Hopefully over the course of this season we’ll start to see more of how all of these characters integrate, given that we do expect there to be a great deal of collaboration still. The writers wouldn’t have moved Alex over to the CIA unless there was still some sort of plan to involve her still with everyone else on the show.
