‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 4 spoilers: Will Ghost Rider, Daisy Johnson be at odds?

While we await the start of “Agents of SHIELD” season 4 in the coming weeks on ABC, we know that there is one character trumping many others in terms of anticipation: Robbie Reyes a.k.a. Ghost Rider. This version of the character (played by Gabriel Luna) has a key part to play over the course of at least the early part of the season, and we’ve learned that he is not necessarily going t be getting along with all of our key characters.

For some further evidence of that, you don’t have to look any further than the official synopsis below (per SpoilerTV) for the upcoming second episode of the season entitled “Meet the New Boss” — which is a very key reference to the new director played by Jason O’Mara:

“Daisy sets out to battle Ghost Rider, but at a terrible cost; the new director’s bold agenda shocks everyone.”

We know that this director is going to be bringing a wide array of his own opinions to the table, and some of them could be controversial to the team. For example, will he be okay with Coulson’s roguish ways, also the relationship between Fitz and Simmons? We also certainly think that he may not be particularly okay with Daisy being out there being a sort of vigilante doing what she thinks in her mind to be heroic.

Ultimately, we’ll get a chance to figure out more soon! Let’s just hope that Ghost Rider proves to be worth this hype, and that ABC releases some more video footage soon!
