‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ preview: Melissa and Joe Gorga argue over scheduling — again

Over the course of this season of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” there have been conflicts aplenty between Melissa and Joe Gorga — but the one in the preview video below for Sunday’s episode has to be up there as one of the nastiest.

We’ve seen tension brewing between the two of them all season long when it comes to their work schedules, but now it’s starting to get a little crazy. Joe starts things off upset with her, given that he lost a big business deal because he was having to pick up the kids. He is frustrated with Melissa’s new boutique gig taking up a lot of her time, and with him having to take on new duties that he was not doing previously. In his mind, this is not the relationship that he signed up for.

Yet, at the same time Melissa brings up a good point: This is the new millennium, and shouldn’t he be proud to have a wife who is ambitious and trying to really push herself? These are noble things, but he responds to them by being a complete jerk and saying that her earnings are “crumbs” compared to what he is bringing in at the moment.

So long as Joe continues to speak to his wife in that sort of manner, we certainly don’t think things are going to get any better between these two. As a matter of fact, we only see them continuing to spiral out and get worse.
