‘Poldark’ season 2, episode 2 video: Demelza challenges George

With Ross Poldark awaiting his fate as a result of being on trial, we’re going to of course see everyone close to him doing what they can in order to lend a helping hand to try and aid in his cause.

At the top of the list of people willing to help, of course, has to be the person who care about him much more than anyone in Demelza. She and Ross have been on an incredibly emotional journey so far, and as she continues to mourn Julia, it would make sense that she would want him at her side. This is, at least in part, what the latest “Poldark” sneak peek below is all about.

In this preview, you can see at first Demelza try to reason with George over his hatred for Ross, and she tries her best to reason with him that in spite of whatever differences the two parties may have, at the end of the day they have a great deal in common. Unsurprisingly, he is a total jerk upon hearing that, and the two continue their sparring for just a tad bit longer before the sneak peek comes to a close. Nothing is really accomplished here, but it is another reminder of Demelza’s determination and also the awesome fervor that Eleanor Tomlinson brings to this role. If we continue to see more of this throughout season 2, we have a feeling that we’re going to be an extremely happy man as a result.
