‘Gotham’ season 3 video: What’s Harvey Bullock up to now?
Going into the third season of “Gotham,” we definitely had some questions regarding what in the world the show was going to do with the Harvey Bullock character. They had made him Captain for the brief period of time that Barnes (Michael Chiklis) was hospitalized, and we had wondered if they were going to either kill that character off or transfer him to give Donal Logue’s character the new position.
Based on the promo below released on the show’s official Twitter page, that’s not happened. Instead, what we’re getting the chance to see on the show moving forward is the Harvey character in a very different position, one where he is forced to try and use some of his skills once again in the field. Barnes is back, and seemingly, he is going to return to many of his original duties. That’s great news for those of you who want to see Harvey doing what he does best, which is getting out there and being a bruiser in the streets. We did like him as a Captain, but at the same time it would have been a bummer to lose Chiklis from the show.
Now that we’ve said that, we do really hope that there’s going to be some sort of meaty storyline for Harvey as we move into the third season that is separate from some of the other characters. There were some times where he started to get somewhat lost in the shuffle during season 2, and when you consider both his skill and Logue’s performance in the role, we definitely do not want that.
