‘The Bachelor’: Nick Viall opens up about ‘pressure’ of upcoming gig
Now that this season of “Bachelor in Paradise” is over, Nick Viall can now prepare for what is a very exciting and ambitious solo gig as “The Bachelor.” Filming should begin by the end of the month, and over the course of the next few weeks, we imagine that he is going to do his best to prepare for what is coming up.
Obviously, we do think Nick is on this journey to try to find love, and with that, he clearly wants it to go well. However, at the same time he’s always shown himself to be a person who is fairly realistic about expectations, and he’s been in enough relationships at this point to know that nothing is guaranteed. This is why he told “Good Morning America” this week that while he wants to meet his future wife on the show, he also doesn’t know for sure that she will be there:
“There’s a lot of expectations that come with it, and there’s also no guarantees, right? You never know if you’re going to connect with [the women]. Maybe you really like someone who doesn’t really like you back. You just never know.”
One of the things that probably makes this all the trickier is the simple fact that there are a good many cast members for this season that were likely cast before it was even revealed that he was going to be the lead. While we of course do hope that many of these women do stick it out and give them a chance to be a worthy leading man, there is still no guarantee that they will. For the record, there are some people being specifically cast now with him in mind.
