‘Big Brother 18’ live review: Was Natalie Negrotti or James Huling evicted?
Tonight, “Big Brother” says farewell to one of its larger characters of the season — or, as Julie Chen called them, a “romance.” It’s somewhat ironic that Julie said that while calling Nicole and Corey, the couple who has done a heck of a lot more in the house, a showmance. Let’s just leave it there.
Will tonight show the full destruction of the James / Natalie relationship? We’ll have some more updates on that over the course of this LIVE review, which is apparently going to also contain a jury house segment and also something from Jeff and Jordan. (We’ve certainly seen plenty of Jeff on the feeds this season…)
The downfall of James and Natalie – Basically, tonight’s segment can be best described as “reality setting in.” The two have real pressure on them, and as a result of that you started to see their issues come to the surface. Both came off very poorly during this segment, though to be fair to Natalie, we’d probably be grumpy if we were going home, too. We just think she’s wrong to completely wipe her hands clean of some of the problems that put her in this position. She is the one who originally wanted to target Paul and Victor when she and Michelle were co-Heads of Household.
Jeff and Jordan update – For a segment that Julie Chen advertised by saying “so much has happened,” this conversation felt like it really dragged on. Also, apparently Jordan wanted to name their unborn child Sailor.
Jury house – Hey, it was (kind of) fun … or at least it was until we were reminded that Paulie and Zakiyah are hanging out again. Ugh. Also, Michelle still seems incredibly bitter towards Nicole, and we still blame her mostly for her own demise.
Eviction – Natalie is gone, and all of that hype about her calling people out was nothing. We think that she was a good player at times this season, but it was incredibly frustrating watching her make at times personal decisions; also, many of her comments tonight were contradictions of the past few days.
