‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 4, episode 13 (series finale) preview: The end is near

After several years of drama and romance on The CW, “Beauty and the Beast” is coming to a close in just seven days’ time with an episode entitled “Au Reviour.” Just the title alone has a certain tinge of romance to it.

Of course, we don’t exactly think that the entirety of this coming episode is going to be all that romantic … though it could very well be at the end. After all, the focus for Cat and Vincent in the immediate future is going to be saving not only their lives, but also the lives of others. Maybe once we get past that point we’ll have a good chance to see what their future could look like then. Being that this is the series finale, of course you can’t expect The CW to give a whole lot away! This is all we’ve got for the time being via the official synopsis:

“Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to stop an attack and rid the world of beast makers once and for all. Austin Basis, Nicole Gale Anderson, Nina Lisandrello and Michael Roark also star.”

Our hope is mostly just that the finale pays tribute to the legacy of the show. We want some reminders of the journey, and a little bit of hope for the future. One of the things that does give us hope for a proper ending is the sole fact that this was announced as the final season a long time ago, so the writers likely had some time to prepare for it.
